Dye lots vary from piece to piece and variations of color are the inherent nature of this Reactive Glaze product. These mugs are hand dipped and then fired in an oxidation kiln. Varying levels of oxygen shot into the glaze creates a unique variation of color on every mug (even mugs manufactured within the same production run). This process varies from normal ceramic glazes that are fired consistently. Because of the nature of Reactive Glaze, every mug is unique.
